2. Product Condition & Specifications

• Reconditioned / Overhauled Equipment: All reconditioned centrifugal separators and purifiers (Alfa Laval, Mitsubishi, GEA Westfalia) undergo complete disassembly, chemical cleaning, component inspection, replacement of wear parts, and dynamic bowl balancing prior to dispatch.
• Spare Parts Standard: Unless explicitly confirmed in writing as "New Genuine OEM," replacement parts supplied are high-quality aftermarket equivalents engineered to OEM dimensional specifications.
• Illustrative Visuals: Product photographs and exploded diagrams are for visual reference. Serial numbers and specific marine vessel configurations may cause minor physical variations.

3. Quotations, Pricing & Currency

• Quote Expiry: All written quotations are valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issuance and remain subject to prior stock sale.
• Price Exclusions: Unless explicitly noted in the Proforma Invoice, quoted prices exclude destination import tariffs, local port taxes, custom clearance fees, and third-party inspection agency charges (e.g., SGS, Bureau Veritas, DNV).

4. Payment Terms & Export Logistics

• Payment Methods: Standard export orders are fulfilled against 100% advance Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) or confirmed, irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight from a first-class international bank.
• Incoterms 2020: Export shipments follow Incoterms 2020 rules—typically EXW Bhavnagar, FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva, or CFR/CIF Destination Port as stipulated in your quotation.
• Transfer of Risk: Liability for loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery of goods to the freight forwarder, carrier, or port authority in India.

5. Warranty & Defect Claims

• 6-Month Limited Warranty: Reconditioned purifier assemblies and overhauled equipment carry a 6-month limited warranty covering workmanship and defective overhauled parts from the date of dispatch.
• Warranty Exclusions: Warranty does not cover normal wear-and-tear items (O-rings, seals, gaskets), electrical components, or damage caused by improper installation, uncalibrated oil flow, contaminated feed, or unauthorized modifications.
• Freight Damage & Notice: Any discrepancy, shipping damage, or wrong part claim must be reported in writing within 7 days of receipt at the destination port or vessel with photographs and serial documentation.

6. Limitation of Liability

Apple Marine shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including, but not limited to, vessel off-hire penalties, demurrage charges, charter delays, or operational downtime. Total financial liability for any claim shall not exceed the net invoiced amount paid for the specific item in question.

7. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All brand names, trademarks, and model identifiers (e.g., Alfa Laval, Mitsubishi, Westfalia, MMPX, MAB, MAPX) referenced on this site belong to their respective trademark holders. Their use is strictly for machine compatibility identification and descriptive purposes.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and all commercial contracts are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.
